Fleet Velo has been a pioneer in the hard court bike polo world, thanks to the efforts of co-founder Tucker Schwinn, who introduced the Joust in 2008. Tucker hails from Chicago, one the hotbeds of bike polo from the start. Teaming up with the master framebuilders at Waterford Precision, who take care of building and logistics for Fleet Velo. All Fleet Velo frames are made at the Waterford factory in Waterford, Wisconsin, USA.
Fleet Velo continues to refine the Joust the sport develops. The Joust Wide was introduced in 2010 for riders who wanted bigger tires and to use single speed mountain bike wheels. Since the beginning, Fleet Velo has been the choice of leading polo players in addition to a growing number of riders who use the Joust on the street.
